With our next board meeting taking place on Wednesday 20th March, we’re welcoming an important figure representing housing and communities to talk to our members about the difference we’re making.

We’re welcoming Hardip Begol CBE to the meeting, who is Director for Integration and Communities at the Department for Communities and Local Government, and will meet our members, learn about their respective businesses and the opportunities and challenges they face, as well as understand more about how Telford Business Board is developing support for the Marches with their Local Industrial Strategy.

Alongside Hardip, we’ll also be welcoming Graham Wynn, Chair of the Marches LEP to share insight about the development of the Local Industrial Strategy.

Both individuals, along with some of our members on the board, will be heading onto the Get Digital event being hosted at the Marches Growth Hub in Telford, which will see the European Vice-President of Twitter, Bruce Daisley, present a keynote speech about the opportunities for SMEs to thrive online.

If you’re interested in playing an important role in the future development of Telford & Wrekin, and want to find out more about becoming a member, please contact Jaclyn Kitson on Telford-BusinessBoard@outlook.com to receive your application pack.

We would welcome applications from all interested parties, and are particularly keen to hear from business leaders in the following sectors:
